Dolloween Costume Favorites!

Hey guys! With Dolloween less than a week away, it's time to start thinking about costumes! First I'll give you my thoughts on the current ones from AG and then I'll show you some of my favorite from other places!

Ahh... The Witch Costume. Let me start by saying I LOVE the broom! It's a little doll-sized Firebolt! But the rest of it is cheap looking. NOT worth $34.
I love the Spooky Fun outfit! The tutu. the candy corn tights, the ghost sweater, it really is fun!
Again, the Genie costume looks like a costume. The slippers are nice, but the rest of it is cheesy.
I REALLY despise this outfit. And for one prominent reason: It's pink. Newsflash- Dancers almost NEVER wear pink leotards. For practice, leotards are BLACK. My dance teacher would be really mad if I showed up for class in a pink leotard. Yes, we wear pink leotards for shows sometimes, but mostly, they're BLACK. How does AG not know this?

Now after a rant, let's look at some cute costumes from Chasing Fireflies!
This costume is sooooooo cute! It's made of candy, and looks good enough to eat!
No, autographs, please. This dress is sooooo awesome!
Glow-in the dark skeleton PJ's? Awesome! Also available in pink!;)

And now some Etsy favorites!

These are all from Paula's Art Studio!
agoverseasfan just got this dress, and I want it sooooooo badly! I'm OBSESSED with Belle from Beauty and the Beast! She's my all time favorite princess! I LOVE BELLE sooooo much! I really want this dress!
My dad has wanted me to be Bat Girl since I was born, and I never have. Well, maybe his wish will some true and Caroline will dress up as Bat Girl! This outfit is soooooo awesome!
It's Mulan! I'm being Mulan for Halloween this year!!! I really want this dress now! When will my reflection show who I am insiiiiiiiiiide?
This Belle dress is from Etsy seller Pumpkin Coach Boutique! It's sooooo pretty!

These all are from the Little Dress Up Shop!
Yes, more Belle! I love this dress sooooooo much!

No, it can't be! BARBIE PRINCESS AND THE PAUPER DRESSES FOR AMERICAN GIRLS?!?!? Barbie Princess and the Pauper is my favorite movie! And AG's are my favorite dolls! These dresses are two of my favorite things in one! Saving up right now.

I hope this inspired you to create some great costumes for your dolls! Hopefully later today I will have a review, I'm planning a craft, and a post about what all of my dolls are being this year for Dolloween! Bye!

  1. I love all of the costumes, especially the Belle ones. She is my favorite princess too:) It is funny how AG has not figured out about the leotard color yet. I have been dancing since age 3 and have never in my life worn a pink leotard, most of them have been black or navy.

    1. I know! I've been dancing since I was three too, and I wore a pink leotard ONCE for a recital, never to class. I hope that with the ballerina GOTY next year they'll go black. Maybe they're worried about color transfer? But then how would that explain all of the other black clothes they have had? I don't know.

  2. Why do leotards have to be black and not pink?

    1. My dance school, along with lots of others, think black looks more "professional". Hope that helped! And could you please sign your name or screen name at the end of your comment so I know who's commenting? Thanks!
