Something BIG

BIG NEWS!!!!!!!!! So the start of school for me also means the start of ballet class, one of my many hobbies. And with many strong rumors of a dancer GOTY 2014, I thought what a better way to send of summer than to have...

BALLET WEEK! Starting tomorrow, there will be a ballet themed post EVERYDAY until Saturday! I have so many crafts, activities, and surprises to share with you! So spread the word and get ready to dance your feet off!

I GOT TAGGED!

I got tagged! Thank you sooooooooooooooooooooooo much beast'sbelle! You are one of my all-time favorite bloggers, so it really means a lot!

Question Time!

1.  Why did you start blogging?
Well, we were on our way home from a road trip, and I all the sudden said, "I should start a blog." And the rest is history:)
2.  What is your fashion style?
Nerdy. I'm always that girl wearing the collared shirts and Mary Janes:)

3.  What is something your followers don't know about you?
Ummm... I'm right handed, I'm allergic to pine trees, coconut, juniper bush, and rosemary, I can walk to my cousins' house, I have a special surprise being announced later :x

4.  What is one of your blogging goals?
To post more and to make new friends!

5.  Where is your favorite place to shop?
Target, Toys R Us, The AG store;)

6.  What would your ideal amount of followers be?
I'd rather have three followers that comment and read this and are my friends than three hundred that are ghosts:) Thanks for getting my to 31 followers!!!!!

7.  What are your talents?
I play the violin, am in Scrabble Club, ballet, orchestra, joining choir (hope I make it!), act, can play a little piano, swimming, and writing.

8.  Are you a leader or a follower?
LEADER!!! I'm 100% outgoing, and I LOVE being in charge! Another weird fact about me, I LOVE public speaking! All eyes are on ME, so I'm the center of attention!

9.  What is your favorite quote?
"I am not pretty. I am not beautiful. I am as radiant as the sun." -The Hunger Games

10.  Do you have a favorite book or book series?
Wellllll, I read for at least an hour a day, but my favorites are all AG books, Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Mockingjay, The Misspellers, Wonderstruck, The Invention of Hugo Cabret, The Doll People, The Meanest Doll in the World, Midnight in the Dollhouse, Nancy Drew, Delirium, Pandemonium, Requiem, Divergent, Insurgent, The Wrong Channel, and Touch Blue.

11.   Out of all the synonyms for elegant, which would you describe yourself with (smart, dressy, stylish, graceful, or fine)?
Ummm... Smart, I guess I do pretty well in school. I did get honor role 8 consecutive times, and I haven't set anything on fire (yet, and I have come pretty close), so I guess I'm smart. Dressy, yes. Everyone always says I'm "too fancy" for the occasion. Stylish, NO. I hate jeans, short shorts make me cringe (when they're on me), sneakers and TOMS are just NOT me, so really, NO. Graceful, no, I say, as I fall on my face. Sure I can stay upright in ballet and pull of shenĂ©s, but there is an ongoing saying in my class- "I don't know how many times a day I hear 'Waaaah, clunk, ''I'm okay!"'":I Fine? I don't even know.

12.   What is your favorite flower?
I love lilacs and roses, but ALL flowers are pretty!

New Release...

AG released some new stuff. Not overly excited, compared to last release when I was jumping off the walls and counting my money. There are a few treasures here and there, but mostly, remakes from a long time ago.
Awesome! I have the Picasso set from Walmart, but this is pretty cool!
 Eh, overpriced and unnecessary.
Cute... but the hair dryer and curling iron are just hunks of plastic. I do like that it comes with a mister and a book, so some hair care actually goes on. Should come with a hairbrush, though.
Umm... $110 for a fake footbath? You could make one (and I have, comment for craft post) for, like, $2 at the dollar store?
Finally! Something I'd consider asking for! These are sooooooooo cute!
Umm... are leggins+shorts a thing now? I know I'm not fashion-forward, but it just seems... a little 80's to me. I don't know, I wasn't a thought in the 80's... no offense to anyone who sports this combo.
A sweater outfit that's not pink? AWESOME!!! The coat and mittens sold separately? NOT AWESOME!!!
Awwww! So cute! Won't ask for it, but cute!
Umm, does this seam dull to anyone else? I mean, 60 looks great in everything, but I think that this is just not interesting. It matches the Pretty Party Purse, though.
Cool! I LOVE that furry thing, and the stocking! Compared to last year's drag-cessories, these are amazing!
 Cute, but the mauve?
What the llama?!? (Excuse my language) $48 for plastic, fabric, and a Chrissa copy? It's cute how the accessories can fit doll and snowman, but NOT worth $48. Period.
Yay, new Bitty Baby. I DESPISE the new Bitty's. They are kinda mean looking, and NO BITTY BEAR!!! Plus, their price almost DOUBLED, along with outfit prices! Last month, this outfit probably would have been $20-$28, and now it's $40!!!!!! I want old Bitty's back!

 See above...
 Cute... still steaming...
Aww! I would have loved this when I slept in a crib!
Step up from the old one.
Okay...
Cool, new stroller. More storage than the old one, it looks like.

What? $30 for a stuffed animal? I love that bunny, but still...
WAY more expensive than the old one.
 $20, yeah right...

The only new bitty thing I actually like! So much that when I see how big it is and if I like the size I may consider getting it! At $28, not bad!
 no.
 no.
 Okay...
 Another?
 Aww!
 Aww!
AWWWWWWW!!! If the apron fits, my dolls'll be baking!

 Cute!
YEAH! GYMNASTICS! I'd ask for these if they weren't $85, which isn't that bad considering what you get AND usage.
NICE! And only $24? NICE!!! Want.

Oh, joy, a baby bucket.
Cute, and I guess not ALL outfits are revoltingly overpriced.
Same for this.
Not THAT impressed with the new release, especially the Bitty's. I'm going shopping with my grandma today, so I'll take pics of the new SF stuff! Oh, and if you want a spa chair craft, comment chumba wumba.

IT'S MY BLOGOVERSARY!!!!!!!!!

IT'S MY BLOGOVERSARY!!!!! Well, yesterday was. But we're celebrating TODAY!!!! Woot woot. Soooooo... how about one of our favorites here at AGA,

A HODPODGE POST!!!!

Craft

Let's make shelves for  dolls!
 What you'll need:

  • An AG outfit or accessory box (or a box around that size)
  • Two sheets of thin cardboard
  • 2-4 sheets of scrapbook paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue (Glue sticks work best. If you don't have one, put a little glue in a bowl and use a paintbrush to apply)
  • Pencil
  • Packing Tape
  • Your imagination!

 1. Cut the lid and side flaps off of the box.
 2. Trace the bottom of your box onto the back of your scrapbook paper.
 3. Cut it out.

 4. Apply glue to the bottom of your box. Glue down the paper you just cut out fancy side up.
 5. Trace the side of the box two times (or as many as you want, considering how many shelves you want).
 6. Cut out.

 7. Cover with scrapbook paper by applying glue, laying it flat on paper, folding the paper over, and trimming the excess.

8. Trace all four sides of the box and cut out.
 9. Glue to the inside sides of the box.

 10. Trim the excess. If your box isn't decorated on the outside, repeat steps 8-10, but glue on the outside of the box.
 11. Use packing tape strips as brackets and secure the shelf in place. Repeat for the other shelf(ves).

 And your done!

Guess what? I GOT A NEW DOLLLLLLLL!!!!!!
Meet Mini Saige! I saved up for her, and then my dad surprised me by taking me to Barns and Noble to buy her!
 The back of her box.
 Without the plastic.
 EEEEEEEK! DYING OF CUUUUUUUUUUUUUTENEEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!
Her AWESOME book! I don't recommend this one for actually reading (unless you're a doll!) But the girl sized one is FANTASTIC!!!!
 I LOVE her!
I can't have two Saiges, so meet Mallie Sage Oregano Copeland!
Sorry Mallie! A good review shows undies!
 LOVE the boots!
 Her hair... *faints of cuteness*
Hope you enjoyed my review!

And now a special surprise...
I'M BRINGING CAPTION THAT DOLL PICTURE BACK!!!!

What do you think Pepper, Meatloaf, Inkpot, and Larry are saying (or thinking)?

Autumn, I FINALLY remembered to post Esther's Lunaii! I hope you like it! Maria, I'll email you shortly, and Tarynn, here is your interview!

  1. Who was your first doll?
  2. Which dolls are on your wish list?
  3. What is your favorite thing about blogging?
