Birthday Surprises II

Hey Doll Lovers! Sorry I haven't posted in AGES. Literally! It was my birthday last week! I had a party with my family and in a week I'm having a party with my BFF's. And I got some pretty awesome presents:)

My grandma gave me a HUGE stuffed gorilla. He's taller than my AG's!
My brother gave me a present that came in a promising box...

Coconut's Pajamas! They are sooooooo cute! Review time! After I show you the card he made me.
Aww! He's seven, but he knows I'm allergic to coconut!

 A pretty good haul!
The top is ADORABLE. It has Coconuts and snowflakes all over it:

 It closes with velcro.

Pros:
Adorable!
Can be used as a regular shirt as well
Easy to get on and off

Cons:
I've got nuttin'
The Coconut slippers are my favorite part of the outfit! The little puppy faces are just so cute!
 Pros:
Cute BEYOND words
Works well with the outfit

Cons:
A little to small for the doll
Made out of towel-like material
 The pants are cute...
 Pros:
Easy to get on/off
Can be used as regular clothes

Cons:
A little plain. Red would have been better.
Scrunchies. What else is there to say?

 And a charm.
Overall, a CUTE outfit that looks STUNNING on Felicity, even when sideways! 9 out of 10!

And now, coming to you all the way from (where my babysitter who sent this to me for my birthday lives)...
 MINI MARIE-GRACE!!!
My AMAZING babysitter Nikki sent me Mini Marie-Grace as my birthday present! She's GORGEOUS!
Yes, she sent me the 2011 25th Anneversary version. I don't know how she got her!
 Isn't she adorable?
Bad pic, but you can see that her eyes are almost the same color as mine!
 So is her beautiful hair!
The hair on the left is mine, and you can see that it's a pretty close match!
I love my boots, my boots and me...
 Clothing!
I love her boots, her boots and me,
They've got black stitched buttons, can't you see,
They're hard to get off,  'cause she's meant for display,
But her boots are cute, 'cause they belong to Marie-Graaaaaaaaaaaaaaace!
*applause*

Pros:
ADORABLE!!

Cons:
Hard to get on/off
 Pantaloons.

Pros:
Detailed
Accurate to her era

Cons:
Hard to get on/off

 Socks.

 Pros:
She's gotta have em'

Cons:
Easy to lose
Her dress is not meant to be a dress. AG sells the big version in two pieces. Why it's only one is a mystery. Maybe to cut cost? Time issues? Size issues? I don't know...
See? Two pieces.
But it's a BEAUTIFUL dress. It's incredibly detailed, down to the two stitched buttons.

Pros:
Amazingly detailed
Looks adorable on her

Cons:
Not meant to be a dress...
Hard to get on/off
Her book is an abridged version of her meet book.
I just love these mini books...

Pros:
In scale to the doll
Detailed
You can read it!
Illustrations

Cons:
Abridged
And because she's an LE, she came with a sticker!
Lissie, Elizabeth, Mallie, Gracey
All of my minis:) Marie-Grace decided to go by Gracey, though her full name is Marie-Grace.

I had an excellent birthday, and I'm sooooo grateful for my presents, including the ones not shown. (These include books, clothes, a hairbrush, a bracelet, a blanket, and a Rainbow Loom!:D) I love everything I got, an excuse to eat cake, and spending time with my family;)
Hey gorilla! You want a piece of me?!?

I Went To A Doll Show :)

Hey guys! Im sorry I haven't posted in ages! I've been SUPER busy, especially with taking ballet twice a week from 3-5 now. I've got some FUN Halloween things planned, but first...

Today I went to a doll show! (hence the not-so-obvious title;)) I didn't get as many pictures as I would've hoped, but you'll never guess who ended up following me home;)
This lady was selling ADORABLE felt cookies for dolls! I got a pack of 6 for $3.00! They are ADORABLE! Review sometime this week!
Madame Alexander galore! One of the highlights of the trip was seeing an Ellowyne in person. I didn't get a picture, but I'd been wanting to see one in person for quite a while.
 Old Barbie book
Molly got her picture taken with a really pretty Pre-Mattel/Early Mattel Felicity;)
A Disney World Barbie! I was just there and saw balloons like the one she's holding!

And now what I got! Please note that EVERYTHING I got is my birthday present from my parents.
One lady was selling homemade doll clothes! She was there last year, too. She's the one who sold my Ruthie's red nightgown, Lanie's froggy jammies, and those three adorable gingham dresses with the collars. So this year I got a Felicity-style dress from her!
 It's sooooooo adorable!
It even came with a mob cap!
Ruthie reluctantly agreed to show us the pantaloons the set came with.
Talk about attention to detail! The tiny lace it just perfect!
The mob cap is so cute!
I love this style of dress!
I also got Caroline a sailor dress!
 The front is just AMAZING!
The back is just as pretty as the front.
Sparkly stars; how can you go wrong?
I wish I could sew like this! It's sew cute! *rimshot*

But guess what else I got?

Or should I say who else? :D

 I GOT FELICITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep, I got Felicity!!!! I've been wanting her since I was 9, and I finally have her! My mom couldn't say no to $75 for a Pre-Mattel, maybe REALLY early Mattel Felicity in her super early Mattel (circa 2003-2005) holiday gown! And yes, she's the one Molly got her picture with. Neither of us dreamed she'd be our sister!!!!!
I just LOVE her green eyes! Oh, it feels like I'm about to wake up from a dream, but it's real!!!!!
Her hair was in some need of attention, but not that bad!
She didn't come with shoes, but it's not like I'm devoid of doll shoes or anything;)
PLEASENT COMPANY stamp! By the looks of it, I think she is early Mattel (circa 1998-2004). Which means Felicity could be older than me!:O
 She is soooooooo photogenic!
The seller even included her pamphlet and card explaining stomachers.
If you want to see these pictures bigger, you can just click on them.

Felicity came in a white shift.
The neckline is low and gathered.
Here it is off of Felicity.
Her tag had been cut, so I can't tell what year she's from:(
 Her hair is so... red.
The only mark she has is this pen mark on her shoulder. It didn't come off with a Magic Eraser:( That's okay. Felicity's a tomboy so it'll just be a scratch from some daredevil trickXD
 Out of the pony!
The tag on her dress suggests it's from 2003-2009.
 Her necklace is sooooo awesome!
 It has a screw clasp.
Not a bad lot for $75!!!!:D
Her limbs are tighter than Lanie's. Poor Lanie needs a trip to the hospital soon D:

Then Felicity went to the "spa":
 I brushed out her hair...
...carefully trimmed off the uneven edges...
 ... and redid the pincurls.
After Felicity got dressed again, this time with a different stomacher, she joined mini Felicity, now going by Lissie to differentiate the Felicities.
And we took a new groupshot, so expect a new header soon:)

I had soooooooooo much fun at the doll show, and I'm sooooooooooo happy that I got the doll of my 9-year-old dreams:D
