Reader Submission and a Tag!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while! I've had a lot of computer issues, but I'm working on them;)

Maria, one of AGA's readers and owner of one of my favorite blogs, My Simple Sweet Dollhouses, sent me some ADORABLE pictures of toddler Anna and Elsa! Here they are:

 This one's my favorite;)

Thanks Maria! These pictures are so sweet!

Speaking of sweet, Maria also tagged me in the Beachy Blogger Award! Thank you!

What is your favorite hobby? This is so hard! I do ballet, violin, piano, orchestra, ice skating, theater, swim, photography, writing, and movie making. I think its a dead tie;D
(Be honest) Do you like getting gifts or receiving them? Honestly, giving gifts. i love watching people's faces light up when you give them a sweet gift. But don't get me wrong, i like being on the other end too;)
What is your favorite beach activities? Exploring! I want to be a marine biologist when I get older, so I love sticking on my goggles and looking at the fish underwater. And I lovelovelove taking pictures at the beach!
What is your opinion on AG's prices? Steep. But for the most part fair. Give or take a few items, you really get what you pay for with AG. Their products are really good quality, and with about 75% of their products, I'd be happy to pay the price.
Dog or cat person? Both! I love playing with dogs and snuggling with kittens:)
What is your favorite movie? Ugh these questions are hard!;) I have a bunch (in no order): Frozen, Tangled, Beauty and the Beast, Brave, Pocahontas, The Little Mermaid, Mulan, Divergent, The Fault in our Stars, Harry Potter, The Hunger Games and Catching Fire, every AG movie (especially Felicity, Molly, and Saige) and Barbie Princess and the PauperXD
What is your least favorite movie? The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. Which bites because The Mortal Instruments is high up there on my favorite book series list, and Kevin Zegers made such a good Alec, but they really messed up the book:(
Favorite doll line? AG! I may be a little biased;)
Spring or Fall? Both! I love them for different reasons. I love spring because where I live, we have excruciatingly long winters, and spring means sun again;) But I love fall because my birthday's in fall, and the first day of school. Plus I love fall weather, when it's breezy and sunny, so you can put a jacket on and bike ride while being attacked by leaves;) So I guess fall!:D

Thank you so much Maria! This was so much fun and your pictures are so cute!

Have a great day!

AGP Denver Isabelle Promotional Store Exclusives

A couple of days ago, my mom, while on business trip, stopped at AGP Denver to pick up some things for me and other people. She told her personal shopper about AGA, The Crazy Life of a Doll, and Nina the Shark Productions, and the personal shopper gave me some free Isabelle promotion items!
Isabelle's Promotional Tee Shirt! I am so excited to have this! They gave it away at her release, and I love it so much!
It has Isabelle's symbol, which is the Anna Hart Dance Company logo, Isabelle Girl of the Year 2014, and polka dots. Everything is sparkly.
There's a tag on the side that says Isabelle and American Girl. It's a bright pink.
 Here's the back.
Like most AG shirts, it's split in the back and closes with Velcro.
The shirt came with a sheet of paper demonstrating how you can cut the shirt to make different styles.
Here are the styles.
On the back, it shows the cuts necessary for each style.
I shudder to think how many AG shirts little girls have destroyed trying to replicate these styles. :(
One style is a tank, another is an asymmetrical hemline, I have no idea what to call three, or four, for that matter.

I really like this shirt, and my dolls are going to wear it all the time!
Isabelle Paper Dolls! I am so excited about these! I actually got three sets, but I think I may give the other two away (not on AGA, sorry!). This is the front of the trifold.

 It opens up trifold-style.

The clothes punch out with perforated lines.
that sheet lifts up to reveal this one.

This is the back of the sheet above.

And this is the back of the entire pamphlet.
I love these paper dolls so much! They make such a great edition to my AG collection!
Isabelle Poster!!! I LOVE the AG posters, so I was soooo excited to hang the Isabelle one up on my wall! The picture it depicts is the one on the cover of her first book.
It reads Isabelle and Find a spotlight all your own.
Here's a tip; I use poster putty to hang up everything on my walls and my dolls' walls. It doesn't damage the walls or the poster, is easy to remove, inexpensive, and all out easier than tape. You can find it at most, if not all, office supplies stores for $2-$3 (I'm pretty sure;).
Here's my AG and Frozen wall. I have three AG posters, Saige, Caroline, and Isabelle, and Frozen wall decals that I got for about $12 at a wallpaper and paint store. My Decorative Wall (as I call it) is my second favorite part of my room, behind my dollhouse.
And here's my dollhouse! I'm not going to go into too much detail about it in this post, but there will be a tour once I fix it up and decorate it :D
Finally, the PWP BEach Sundress! I love this dress so much, especially on Felicity. It comes with the dress and the bracelet (which can also be used as a hair band).
 The embroidery is gorgeous!
I just LOVE the bracelet/hair accessory!
One strap is thick while the other is thin.
It comes down to Felicity's ankles. It's made of a stiffish green fabric and features a double hem on the bottom.
It opens halfway up the back and closes with a long strip of Velcro.
Felicity looks gorgeous in this dress. It really brings out the green in her eyes.

I'm so happy that I was able to get these exclusive items that few people get. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment. Have a great day!

Never Grow up's Frozen Blog Party- My Answers to the Questions!

Yes, I am still obsessed with Frozen. And at beastsbelles's blog, Never Grow Up, there is an amazing Frozen Blog Party going on, along with an awesome giveaway. She also came up with some Frozen questions, which I am going to answer! Feel free to answer them too!

   1. Who is your favorite Frozen character (or characters) and why?
Hmm… I LOVE Elsa! She's so pretty, and I love her dress, and her ice powers are amazing! I love Anna too, because I can relate to her and she's funny:) Kristoff is also a great character, with bios layered personality. And how can you forget Olaf, who's just plain hilarious?

   2. Which is your favorite Frozen song (or songs) and why?
Another hard one! Let It Go is probably my favorite, but I also love Love Is An Open Door, In Summer, For the First Time in Forever, For the First Time in Forever Reprise, Do You Want to nBuild a Snowman, and Fixer Upper:)

   3. If you could make one change to the movie, what would it be?
I'd change that Elsa's amazing ice castle ends up getting destroyed:(

   4. Would you want to see a Frozen sequel?  What would you want it to be about?
Surprisingly, no. A sequel would take away from the magic that is Frozen.

   5.  Ice Palace or Arendelle Castle?
Ice Palace! It's so amazing! I'd just bring some blankets;)

   6.  If you could choose a sidekick from the movie, would you choose Sven or Olaf?  Why?
Olaf! He'd keep me company and keep me laughing!

   7.  Do you think all men pick their noses, as Kristoff claimed?
   No? I don't think they do…

   8. Which Frozen character is the most like you (or the one you relate to most) and why?
Anna! I am awkward, clumsy, and need to listen better. But I can also relate to Elsa. Sometimes I'm scared to be myself, and my younger brother never listens to me;)

   9.  How many times have you seen Frozen so far?
4! And watching it again Friday night!

  10.  In keeping with my overall blog theme, ;) which of the Frozen dolls that have been released is your favorite?  (e.g. the Disney Store fashion dolls, Disney Store Disney Animator's Collection and Toddler dolls, Limited Edition Disney Store dolls, Mattel dolls, etc)
The Disney Store Classics!

I hope you enjoyed these! Have a great day!

Disney Frozen Magi Clip Anna Doll

Hello everyone!

Yesterday, my family and I went grocery and birthday present shopping at Target. I was disappointed at the amount of Frozen things they had. While I was explaining this dilemma to my dad, I said, "They don't even have Frozen dolls this size!" I picked up what I thought was a random box, but it was Anna! My mom bought her for me. Thanks Mommy!

Here's the front of her box. She is a Magi Clip doll.
Anna and Elsa are on the front. Anna looks a little cross-eyed, doesn't she?
 Here's the back.
Here you can see how you dress/undress a Magi Clip doll.
I searched the entire store for Elsa, but I could not find her at all. Oh well, I love Anna just as much as Elsa!
The background shows a pretty picture of Arendelle.
Her packaging is that of a normal doll her size.
Out of the box, she comes with her dress, a cape, a necklace, a vanity, a snow globe, and a girl-sized ring.
The ring is sparkly pink plastic and has a rose embossed on the front.
I could not get a good picture of the snow globe if my life depended on it. Basically, it's a plastic sphere with a sticker scene of a castle inside sitting on a pink base.
The vanity is quarter circle shaped with a blue drawer that opens, a mirror, and molded lines to look like wood. There is a lot of detail in this little thing, and I love it!
 The drawer can actually open.
 The back.
 Here's Anna!
Her cape is hot pink flexible plastic and removable.
I love the amount of detail!
Anna came with a little gold necklace, which was a nice surprise I was not expecting!
To remove her dress, you just pinch the bottom and pull Anna out. To put it back on, you pinch the bottom and slip her in.
Her dress is hard plastic. Again, this dress has incredible detail. The only defects are a little black smudge under the bodice, a small black fleck on the bottom of the skirt, and a few black spots inside the dress. Anna also has a very tiny bit of black under her chin. All are very unnoticeable.
 The back is not painted.
Here's Anna! She has 5 points of articulation: her arms, legs, and neck.
Her crown is molded in her hair and she has a painted blond streak. The back is done in a very intricate design.
Her high heels are painted on.
 Everything the set comes with.

I also decided to compare Anna to a generic Polly Pocket. The Polly Pocket, named Linda, will stay on the left, and Anna will be on the right.
Here I stand...
Linda can't stand up, but Anna can/
Ha, now here I stand!
Me too...
Anna's magi Clip dress doesn't fit Linda very well. And Linda's outfit looks big and frumpy on Anna.

Let us go… let us go!
Anna wanted to go play in her sister's snow, so we grabbed our "capes" and headed outside.
The snow glows white in the backyard tonight...

Look! I made a snow angel!

Elsaaaa! Tell the guards to open up the gaaaaaaaate!

Do you wanna build a snowman?

I wanna shove some chocolate in my faaaaaaaace!
Then we came inside for a snack.
I think I shoved too much chocolate in my face...
Overall, this set has a ton of detail for something so small. Anna herself is gorgeous, and pretty movie accurate. Being the only Frozen thing I've been able to find, I totally recommend the Magi Clip characters. They are so cute!

Have a great day!
