A Crazy Hodgepodge of Scoop and Reviews

Hello everyone! So, there is a quite a bit of scoop floating around the doll world right now, so I'm going to tell you my thoughts.

NOTE: These pictures belong to agoverseasfan, NOT ME. They are NOT my pictures. Thanks!
YEP! AG is bringing back Samantha! I'm so excited!

Here's what new Samantha is supposedly going to look like. The clothes she's wearing are NOT hers and have nothing do do with her. Apparently, she's going to have feathered eyebrows instead of her former line eyebrows.

Honestly, I don't really know how I feel about this "HC revamp". The line, while in need of some attention, is fine as it is.

Also, there have been rumors of the Best Friend dolls retiring. I really hope this is not true. That means saying goodbye to Ivy, Ruthie, and either both or one of Cecile and Marie Grace.

The trademark "Be Forever" has been floating around on AG's Trademarkia, so it may have something to do with the new HC line. They also trademarked "Timeless stories. Inspiring characters. Endless possibilities." That obviously will coincide with the revamp.

I'm just going to wait and see how this all plays out. This could be amazing, like the MyAG revamp in 2010, or a complete failure like the Bitty's.

NOTE: These pictures are from various IG accounts. They are NOT mine. Thanks!

But there's a little more scoop floating around Dollstagram:
This. In my opinion, she's gorgeous. Everyone, including I, think that she is a new HC to come along with Samantha in the fall. Judging from her dress, she'll be from the 50's or 60's.
I LOVE her hair! This doll is absolutely adorable! I may want her, but I think I'm just about done getting dolls, but probably not!:D
 I don't like this dress. I mean, it's cute, but I don't know.

On AG Trademarkia, the names Grace and Emmy are trademarked. If her name is Grace, Marie-Grace, and Cecile, will probably go. I wouldn't be surprised; they haven't sold well since they came out. Emmy is the other name. I like it, but not my favorite.

On a different note, the AC Moore in my area was closing, so they had a big blowout sale. And I got some stuff for an amazing price!
I got the letters A and G to paint and put in my dollhouse, a mini vanity for my mini dolls, some elastic (not shown), and Springfield ballet slippers.
The vanity is wooden with a drawer and a mirror. It was $0.60.
The drawer opens and offers plenty of storage.
The letters were $0.30 each. I would've bought more, but I wanted to buy elastic that day.
Here is my best deal and most exciting purchase- the Springfield ballet slippers! And for get this- $3.64!
 The back.
The set comes with an SF Style Ckub code and the ballet slippers.
 The code from the front,
 and the back.
 Here are the shoes!
When I untied them, there was an explosion of ribbon. The ribbon is a good 6 inches long on each shoe.
They are made of synthetic silk.
The sole is harder, so I think it has a layer of cardboard sewn into it.
To lace it up, you just criss-cross the ribbons twice across the doll's legs and tie in a bow.

These slippers are great quality. I don't think I'd bury them at the full price of $5.99, but if you see them on sale, grab them! I give them a solid 9 out of 10.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this mush of random ideas. Please comment yours below!

Disney Frozen Magi Clip Anna Doll

Hello everyone!

Yesterday, my family and I went grocery and birthday present shopping at Target. I was disappointed at the amount of Frozen things they had. While I was explaining this dilemma to my dad, I said, "They don't even have Frozen dolls this size!" I picked up what I thought was a random box, but it was Anna! My mom bought her for me. Thanks Mommy!

Here's the front of her box. She is a Magi Clip doll.
Anna and Elsa are on the front. Anna looks a little cross-eyed, doesn't she?
 Here's the back.
Here you can see how you dress/undress a Magi Clip doll.
I searched the entire store for Elsa, but I could not find her at all. Oh well, I love Anna just as much as Elsa!
The background shows a pretty picture of Arendelle.
Her packaging is that of a normal doll her size.
Out of the box, she comes with her dress, a cape, a necklace, a vanity, a snow globe, and a girl-sized ring.
The ring is sparkly pink plastic and has a rose embossed on the front.
I could not get a good picture of the snow globe if my life depended on it. Basically, it's a plastic sphere with a sticker scene of a castle inside sitting on a pink base.
The vanity is quarter circle shaped with a blue drawer that opens, a mirror, and molded lines to look like wood. There is a lot of detail in this little thing, and I love it!
 The drawer can actually open.
 The back.
 Here's Anna!
Her cape is hot pink flexible plastic and removable.
I love the amount of detail!
Anna came with a little gold necklace, which was a nice surprise I was not expecting!
To remove her dress, you just pinch the bottom and pull Anna out. To put it back on, you pinch the bottom and slip her in.
Her dress is hard plastic. Again, this dress has incredible detail. The only defects are a little black smudge under the bodice, a small black fleck on the bottom of the skirt, and a few black spots inside the dress. Anna also has a very tiny bit of black under her chin. All are very unnoticeable.
 The back is not painted.
Here's Anna! She has 5 points of articulation: her arms, legs, and neck.
Her crown is molded in her hair and she has a painted blond streak. The back is done in a very intricate design.
Her high heels are painted on.
 Everything the set comes with.

I also decided to compare Anna to a generic Polly Pocket. The Polly Pocket, named Linda, will stay on the left, and Anna will be on the right.
Here I stand...
Linda can't stand up, but Anna can/
Ha, now here I stand!
Me too...
Anna's magi Clip dress doesn't fit Linda very well. And Linda's outfit looks big and frumpy on Anna.

Let us go… let us go!
Anna wanted to go play in her sister's snow, so we grabbed our "capes" and headed outside.
The snow glows white in the backyard tonight...

Look! I made a snow angel!

Elsaaaa! Tell the guards to open up the gaaaaaaaate!

Do you wanna build a snowman?

I wanna shove some chocolate in my faaaaaaaace!
Then we came inside for a snack.
I think I shoved too much chocolate in my face...
Overall, this set has a ton of detail for something so small. Anna herself is gorgeous, and pretty movie accurate. Being the only Frozen thing I've been able to find, I totally recommend the Magi Clip characters. They are so cute!

Have a great day!
