AG Sale Stuff, and a BIG Surprise; MUST READ!!!!

PLEASE NOTE: I AM NOT TRYING TO COME OFF AS SPOILED, AND I'M NOT TRYING TO BRAG. I AM GRATEFUL FOR EVERYTHING I GOT, AND I'M JUST SUPER EXCITED, SO IF I SOUND LIKE I'M BRAGGING, I HONESTLY DON'T MEAN TO. Thanks!

Hi everyone! So you're probably aware that AG was having a sale (and still is!)! So my (spectacular) mom ordered some stuff to put away as presents! BUT, she let me pick one thing to open early!!!! So I picked...

 I'm not telling yet! Because first:

 My mom let me take out the things they send with your order, too!:D I love this catalogue featuring Caroline and Garnet!

 And I love these mini mags, too!

 But I wasn't expecting a Saige movie flyer!

 On the back, there are screen shots from the movie. It's hanging on the bulletin board in my room!

And now on to the outfit I picked out...

 McKenna's Rhythmic Gymnastics set!

 It came with the leotard, a hula hoop, a ribbon, a scrunchie with ribbons on it, and hair elastics. It did not come with the hair card, but that's okay!

 Here is everything out of the packaging , except for the elastics for obvious reasons. (Sorry for awful picture!)

 The leotard-
Pros:

• Adorable!
• Stretchy!
• Great Quality!

Cons:

• Velcro snags; be careful!

 Scrunchie-
Pros:

• Cute!

Cons:

• A little small

 Ribbon-
Pros:

• The ribbon comes off the stick, which is good if the ribbon gets tangled.
• Looks awesome in doll's hand!

Cons:

• The ribbon comes off; it might get lost.
• DOES NOT stay in the doll's hand well. It took me five minutes to get it in Saige's hand.

 Elastics-
Pros:

• A neccessity

Cons:

Easy to lose

 Hoop-
Pros:

• Absolutely ADORABLE!!!
• Realistic
• Pops apart for easy storage

Cons:

• There's no way a doll could use this to hula hoop in a stop motion.

 Saige loves it!
This set gets a 9 out of 10! I wouldn't buy it for any more than $27 (which was the sale price), and it's very similar to the 2006(?) Rhythmic Gymnastics set, but still a good buy!

Now for the big surprise...

MY MOM WENT TO AGP DENVER!!!!! Thank you sooooooooooo much Mommy! She got a few things to store (I think), but I got a few things!

 She was telling her personal shopper about my movies, my blog, and all of the other things I do with my dolls. So she got me some exclusive POSTERS!!!!! One has Caroline and one has Saige. I love both of them, and they're hanging in my room!

But now for the BIG surprise...

 I GOT MOLLY!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Yes! I FINALLY got Molly! Which is good, because my mom's personal shopper said that they were announcing Molly's RETIREMENT at the end of JUNE!!!! :O:O:O:O:O;O;O;O;O;O
So I'm soooo glad I got her! I truly love her to pieces! my mom got her for me because I got honor role at school eight consecutive times;)

 Everyone gets really annoyed that Molly doesn't come with a full shirt (she comes with a dickey), but I actually like that. Back in the 1940's, fabric (as well as many other materials) were limited because supplies were needed for soldiers. The dickey is very true to her era.

 Molly came with glasses. To be honest, I hate them. They just don't look good on her.

 Here is the case.

 So Molly could see and so I didn't have to put up with having an old librarian for a doll (no offence to senior librarians, it's just Molly is nine, not sixty-nine), I had this idea...

 The Raspberry glasses look GREAT on her!

 Here is the pamphlet she came with.

 So overall, Molly gets a 10! I LOVE her more than I thought I would.

So Much Scoop...

Okay, so there's been LOTS of AG SCOOP floating around. Most of it is true, but... Want to see my thoughts?

 So, this is mini Saige. I WANT HER! I'm like obsessed with mini dolls, and I love Saige! But, doesn't her hair seem light? And where are her earrings? Mini Josefina and Addy have earrings! Then again Mini Elizabeth and Ivy don't. Still, earrings would be nice. I still REALLY want her though.

This is from an American Girl ad. The outfit Saige is wearing might be coming out in July! Needless to say, I want this too. Her legs seem long, don't they? Creepy... That doll is tall... Too tall... Well, I still want the outfit. If Saige doesn't look like the Slender Man in it... *shudders*

AG is also coming out with new books, too!

 A little late... I would've gotten this instead of the pet set from AG... Cute though!

 This is sooooo adorable! I love these sets, and I'll be getting this!

 I LOVE ANIMALS!!!!!!! Plus, I want to be a biologist (specifically a marine biologist), so I will get this!

 I already have Greatest Mistakes, so this would be a great companion! As everyone at school knows, I NEVER stop writing!

This is such a great idea! Little girls will love it!

Garage Sale Haul, Craft Store Visit, Doll Makeover, Review, but Mostly I'M BACK!!!

Woah, it feels like I haven't posted in forever! Well, I am OFFICIALLY on summer vacation, so I will have way more time for dolls and blogging! Soooooo...

Grandma and I went to the craft store on Tuesday, and I got some cool stuff!

 This make your own furniture set was $5.00 but with a coupon I paid $2.50!

 The furniture pieces came on sheets of balsa wood that you had to punch out and put together like a puzzle.

 Here is only some of the furniture after I put it together and painted it.

 I also got cow pencils, stickers, (I got AG stickers too but they're not in the picture), and PENGUIN DUCK TAPE!!! And I found an unused SF Style Club code on the ground!:D

 Isn't that cute?!?

 Plus, Springfield Uggs! Time for a Mini Review!

 It came with the boots and the code!

 They are soft, they have fur around the edge, and the soles are foam. They fit AGs, OG, and Springfield perfectly!

Now, I had some EPIC garage sale finds!

 At garage sale #1, I got A Moxie Girlz Avery! Her hair had been cut, and she had marker in her hair, but she's still pretty.

 She had marker on her face too.

 But, I cleaned her up! So, meet Aubry Alexis Saratoga! She's so pretty! The marker didn't come out, but I washed her hair. I got most of the marker off her face, too, except for a little bit. Welcome to the family, Aubry!

 Next, I got 3 CALICO CRITTERS BUILDINGS, 9 PETS, AND TONS OF FURNITURE FOR $5.00!!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooo grateful and sooooooooo lucky to find these! I have literally wanted Calico Critters since I was 2, and I FINALLY have my own!:D

 Here's the furniture: Master bed and bedding, high chair, day bed, slide (missing support), random drawer...

 ... kitchen counter, oven, two chairs, little nightstand, random handle, kid's bed and bedding, mold/pan...

 ... and a desk.

 Two of the buildings are identical.This is the inside.

 The other building is a big cabin.

 It has two floors and a little bulletin board.

But my next find was the most amazing...

 AN AMERICAN GIRL BITTY TWIN RETIRED DOUBLE STROLLER!!!!!!!!!!!!

 I can not begin to explain how grateful and fortunate I am to find this! It is awesome!

 This is what told me it was AG! There's a funny story about this thing; I rode my bike to this garage sale, and I saw this and internally screamed. I was afraid to bring it home. I kept thinking, What will Mommy say? I didn't really play with baby dolls any more (except for my precious Mike and Maggie). Plus, I had ridden my bike, so it would be hard to get home. But I couldn't leave it there, so I lugged it and my bike home. It took a half an hour for a usually 10 minute trip, but it was worth it. And my mom let me keep it despite the fact that it takes up a lot of room. Nevertheless, I love it:)

OMG!

Guess what! Tonight we have to pick up my mom's car at the mechanic, and it is really close to the biggest and BEST toy store ever, THE PUDDLE DUCK! I can't wait! I'll take pictures and post them tomorrow. I have another post planned for tonight!

1. If you could create any American Girl doll, what would she look like, and what would her name be?

I would create one that has black curly hair to her waist, forest green eyes, and Mia's freckles! She would be a GOTY named Erika. (Comment if you want to see the first few chapters of her book!)

2. What American Girl dolls do you have?

I have Mary (#23), Ruthie, Lanie, Caroline, and Saige! And if you count mini dolls, I have Felicity and Elizabeth!

3. Do you have any non-AG 18 inch dolls?

Yes! I have an Our Generation named Alejandra (but I call her Alex) and a Springfield Olivia renamed Addison Olivia Penelope Rose (I just call her Addison)!

I do their hair, make stopmotions, set then up, but mostly PLAY!

Yes! It is a whole dollhouse (in progress)! I hope to finish it this summer!
