Happy New Year!

Whew! 2013 was an amazing year! It had its ups and downs, like every year, but compared to other years, 2013 was really good. No death or natural disaster, thank goodness;) There are a few things I specifically want to remember.

 13. Being blessed enough to adopt 12 new members into our doll family! I'm so grateful!
 12. Getting way better at violin, thanks to a new and incredible teacher;)
 11. Moving up to the advanced class in ballet (pointe shoes in 2014!:D)
 10. Inproving in my photography (and dropping my camera into a river after this picture was taken!>D I got a new one for my birthday thanks to Aunt Jenny!)
 9. Spending 4 days in Washington D.C. with my family (and losing my brother at the Smithsonian, so we had to call security, thankfully we found him:))
 8. When the reptile guy came to my brother's birthday party. he brought a live monkey into our house! It was so cool and adorable! He even tried to eat one of my brother's presents!
 7. Playing the Doctor and a student in Schoolhouse Rock the Musical! It was so much fun! (Nina the Shark came to see it)
 6. Spending a week in the summer at sleepaway campo with my 5 closest friends! In the middle of the night when we were camping outside, the fire alarm went off! We had to hike downhill to the main field in the middle of the night in the pitch black with 3 flashlights between 9 people! It ended up not being the camp alarm, but the alarm from a nearby firehall!:( Hey, at least we got free chocolate;)
5.Having a sleep-over with my friends by the lake and going to the water park!
 4.Seeing real-life MANATEES!
 3. Having an AG themed birthday party with my friends!
2. Going to Disney World with my family! It was soooooo cool and solo much fun!

And #1…
Spending time with my incredibly amazing family! We shared laughs, we shared tears, and I couldn't imagine spending 2013 with any other family;)

Things I'm looking forward to in 2014-
Going on pointe!
Making a HUGE stop motion in the spring I've been planning for ages!
Isabelle!
Blogging!
Skiing!
Holidays!
And all the surprises it'll bring;)

Until next year,

Sorry for no post yesterday or three days ago. Both days we were visiting family. To make up for it, however, there will be two posts today and two posts tomorrow!:D

CECILE AND MARIE-GRACE!!!!!!
Yes!!! I got Cecile and Marie-Grace in one day! I just absolutely LOVE them! I could never ever imagine getting two, if you count Claire three, dolls in one day!
 These BFF's are soooo cute!
Let's start with Marie-Grace! She came with a dress, book, boots, socks, hair ribbons, and pantaloons.
She has brown hair with pin curls, turquoise eyes, and the Marie-Grace mold.
Her pin curls are so cute!
 I love her dress!
 It's a pink plaid taffeta.
Sorry it's sideways! Her boots, pantaloons, and socks.
Her pantaloons are trimmed with lace. Her socks are ridged.
Her boots are black and white with black buttons owing up the side.
Her hair has two braids in it.
Her dress closes with velcro in the back.
Doll rating- 9.9 out of 10
I got her accessories, too! These came with a fan, hat, and locket.
The locket is gold and has a tiny gem in it.
It opens, but there's nothing inside.
Her fan is so cute! It has a tassel with a bead on it.
It opens to reveal a floral pattern trimmed with lace.
Her hat is sturdy felt with a pink ribbon.
 The inside.
The ribbons are non-fray.
Accessory set rating- 9 out of 10
Now on to Cecile! I'm so happy I finally have a darker-skin doll in my collection! She came with a dress, book, boots, pantaloons, socks, and hair ribbons.
Cecile has blackish brown curls with pin curls, hazel eyes, and the Sonali mold.
The rosettes on her dress. i just love this pop of red!
The top of her dress kind of looks like a suit.
Her dress is made of blue silk with black velvet and white cotton.
 I really love Cecile!
Her pantaloons, boots, and socks (kind of).
Her black boots have gold buttons and a scalloped edge. If I'm correct, these boots are the same as the Fancy Boots from Cecile's collection minus the gold color.
 Here are the socks!
 Cecile's hair ribbons are white.
I LOVE Cecile's hair so much! I'm just terrified of it. it's so intricate! If any of you have tips on how to care for it, please please please comment! Thanks!
Her dress closes in the back with velcro.
Doll rating- 9.99 out of 10
I got Cecile's accessories, too! This set includes a hat, necklace, and gloves.
Her necklace came all packaged up. No peeking!
Well, I peeked, and I'm glad I did! Her antique looking gold pearl necklace is amazing!
I love her gloves, or are they mittens?
They have as casing for each of her fingers.
Her hat is made of sturdy felt. It is trimmed with black velvet and a rose.
 The back of her hat.
 Sideways Cecile with her accessories;)

I am soooo lucky to have an amazing family who could give me all of these beautiful gifts, while still playing Trivial Pursuit and making the BEST cookies! I'm soooo happy!

Thanks everyone!
